Pay £16.15/ hr
21 hours per week
The Island of Hoy Development Trust is pleased to announce the recruitment of a Wellbeing Coordinator for Hoy and Walls. This is an exciting opportunity to improve the wellbeing of people across Hoy and Walls. As an Island Wellbeing Coordinator, you will support people on a one-to-one basis, whilst also building the capacity of groups, activities and services on the island, to help everybody long-term. The post is funded in partnership between IoHDT and Voluntary Action Orkney and work is ongoing to secure long term funding for the project
The successful candidate will be expected to have good communication and interpersonal. Previous experience of working in the care sector would be an advantage but not essential as training to take on the role will be provided.
